Helper Silage Compacting

Helper Silage Compacting lets the normal FS25 helper compact silage in a bunker silo with a tractor. Place a tractor without attached implements inside the bunker silo and press the normal Hire Worker key (default: H). The helper will drive back and forth, shift sideways between passes, avoid working while another vehicle is inside the silo, and keep compacting the silage until you stop the helper or the silo is fully compacted. Only tractors are supported. Trailers, harvesters, foldable tools, covers, and tip/unload animations are not controlled by this mod. Tyre tracks are handled through True AI Track. When True AI Track is enabled, the helper tractor will create visible tracks on the silage while compacting.

Installation

  1. Download the ZIP file from this page.
  2. Move the ZIP file into Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2025/mods.
  3. Start Farming Simulator 25 and enable the mod in your savegame mod list.
  4. For terrain, animal, or vehicle behavior scripts, test on a backup save first.

Changelog

Current public version: v1.0.0.0. Keep only one version of this mod in your active mods folder.

Compatibility Notes

This is a Farming Simulator 25 script mod. Avoid running duplicate versions or multiple scripts that control the same gameplay system unless you have tested them together.

Bunker Silo Worker

Ever gotten tired of driving back and forth to compact your silage pit? Bunker Silo Worker is here to help you! Just put a tractor in the bunker silo in approximately the direction you want it to work and press your usual Hire Worker button (default: 'h') to start the worker. The worker will drive back and forth, shifting slightly to the side each pass. The worker will also try to stay on the chaff, if possible. The margins the worker keeps towards the sides of the bunker is configurable (default: 'left ctrl + up/down/left'). This can be useful if you think the worker drives too close to the bunker walls, or not close enough. The margins can be visualized with 'left ctrl + v'. INTENDED USAGE: - Start your silage session by unloading one or a few loads of chaff into the bunker silo. - Using a spare tractor, start the Bunker Silo Worker in the bunker silo. - While the worker is compacting, you can still collect more loads of chaff and unload it into the bunker silo. As soon as another vehicle enters the bunker silo, the Bunker Silo Worker will halt its operation, waiting patiently for you to unload your trailer. - Avoid building steep heaps of chaff as this will only make the worker get stuck. Instead try to slightly spread out the chaff as you unload your trailer. KNOWN ISSUES: - Implements not supported (yet). You must use a tractor without attached implements. - Multiplayer not supported (yet). - Bunker silos with modular/arbitrary size and shape doesn't work well with Bunker Silo Worker as of now. The standard, rectangular shaped, fixed size bunker silos works the best. Changelog v1.0.0.1: * Fixed incorrect path which made the mod not load for some players. Silage Compaction Monitor

Take the guesswork out of silage making in Farming Simulator 25! The Silage Compaction Monitor is a quality-of-life mod that adds a real-time information HUD to your screen whenever you are working in a bunker silo. No more endlessly driving back and forth wondering if your tractor is heavy enough or how much longer it will take.
